ALBERT KAYE

Senior Chief Aviation Specialist Albert Kaye, the father of Peachtree Corners resident Larry Kaye, volunteered for the Navy Reserve before Pearl Harbor. During the War, he was assigned to a Navy Air Base in the Aleutian Islands. During a severe storm, he was injured when the roof of a hanger collapsed. After hospitalization and rehab in the US he was discharged. After the War, he went to work for the Navy as an aviation engineer and completed 50 years of Federal Service.
