Charles Ridley (1914-2002) served in the WWII campaigns of Normandy, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe. He was a resident of Dearborn, Michigan and enlisted in the army in 1943. He had completed his bachelor’s degree at Kalamazoo College and Masters at the University of Michigan when he enlisted at age 29. At the time he left behind his wife of two years and career in education. As a Technical Analyst Fourth Grade he extracted information of military value from intercepted communications. He was the much beloved father and grandfather of Peachtree Corners resident Jane Will and daughters Jennifer and Christine.
