John Di Rito entered the United States Naval Academy after graduating from Pinecrest Academy and two years at Georgia Tech. He studied Mechanical Engineering at the USNA. He joined the Navy Submarine Nuclear Program and is presently an officer on board the USS Newport News (SSN-750), a fast attack sub based in Norfolk, VA.
