Marvin Geller was a proud Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He grew up in Savannah, Georgia with his parents, May and Max, and younger sister, Elyse. He graduated from the University of Georgia where he played the clarinet in the Redcoat Marching Band. After serving his country, Marvin lived in New Jersey where he taught middle school math and computer science. After retiring, he moved to Augusta to be nearer to his Georgia family. He loved his family, travel, sports, and his beloved Georgia Bulldogs. After passing in 2016, his remains were interred at Arlington National Cemetery in 2017.
