Oscar Harry Giles, the father of Peachtree Corners resident Judy Giles Kaye, graduated in the class of 1939 from Wofford College and subsequently served as an intelligence officer in Europe during World War II. After the War, he returned home ot Swansea, SC and his war bride, Elizabeth Rast. They raised three girls. Harry farmed, managed a cotton gin and taught high school math. He was a volunteer fireman and pillar of the community. He remained in the Army Reserve and retired a Lt Col.
